Nestled in the heart of northern range on a tiny island, Sans Souci is more than just a name; it's a reflection of the village's spirit, a place where worries dissipate like the early morning sea mist. Growing up amidst the rolling hills, the river right outside my door and the ocean a few footsteps away, this close-knit community of Sans Souci, is where I developed a profound appreciation for the simplicity and serenity that small villages offer.

A Village of Threads and Fibres

In Sans Souci, was remote, and there wasn't much access, to the internet or cable TV, as kids learning a craft was at the top of entertainment list. Learning many crafts from my grandmother and great grandmother was how I spent many days. My grandmother's love for knitting and crocheting became mine since it allowed us to bond and our conversations often centered around the art of fiber. From vibrant crochet bed spreads, to "chair backs", our home was adorned with the evidence of our passion. My interest ranged from crochet dolls, to pillows, when I got old enough my focus turned to crochet and garments.

Discovering Reiki: A Journey Beyond Threads

As life unfolded, I had a spiritual awakening that changed the way in which I saw life. Suddenly, everything, felt energetic. I felt the vibration, the frequencies, the energies all around me. I discovered Reiki, as a way to focus and help me harness the powerful energy that I became aware of suddenly. A began to develop a transformative practice that felt like weaving energy threads through the fabric of existence. The soothing touch of Reiki resonated with the core of Sans Souci's ethos, bringing a new dimension to my connection with the village and its people.
